for me its much harder to not get sh*t done, forgot about what just distracted me almost instantly and be stuck in the same loop, than to just get the thing done.
In the right doses, mythic imagination is absolutely necessary to break from the tyranny of reality, especially as a fount of inspiration (I realize ‘distraction’ is different than flights into imagination, but it had to be said) .
